Like the recent Utah decision against that state’s ssm ban, this case is a good reminder of how important it is to elect progressive Presidents to appoint good federal judges.

I bought myself the Governorship of Florida with some of the $350 million I made as CEO of Columbia-HCA. I am an upstanding and legitimate businessman, a REFORMER who wants to curb wasteful and fraudulent government spending in Florida.

Sure it’s true that only four months after I was forced to resign as CEO, Columbia-HCA reached a plea agreement with the Justice Department. They pled guilty to fourteen felonies relating to long-term fraudulant billing of Medicaid/care and Tricare and agreed to pay $1.7 billion in fines. But as I said earlier that was after I left and had nothing whatsoever to do with me. - Rick Scott

Fucking slimy pandering snake… :(

After the first round of drug testing FL welfare recipients, when it was discovered that less than 5% of them tested positive for drugs, Scott should have left this issue alone, but oh, noooo, he just had to keep pushing the envelope in an attempt to continue to oppress the innocent, all for the sake of satisfying a few who claim to sincerely believe that if one receives any form of government assistance, s/he has to be on drugs. Good on Judge Scrivens’ part for slapping him and the GOPTPers in the state legislature up side their dumb ass heads.
